Senior Non-Life Actuary - Insurance IFRS17 wmd 8535

For a project at our client s site (home office possible within Switzerland), an international insurance based in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated Senior Non-Life Actuary - Insurance / IFRS17.

In this role, you will support the smooth transition to the new IFRS17 accounting standard in the Group Reinsurance Non-Life Reserving area.

Tasks

• Supporting the Reserving team to deliver during the Pre-close and Final Close quarterly productions
• Performing IFRS17 actuarial analysis and providing business insights to Group Re and Group Actuarial management
• Proposing and implementing alternatives and practical solutions to existing challenges around timelines and automation
• Identifying and addressing risks and issues when they occur
• Building on the IFRS17 process documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Non-Life Actuary, preferably in Reserving and/or Reinsurance
• Used for the end-to-end financial reporting of insurance/reinsurance companies
• Well-versed in the usage of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good know-how in IFRS17 and first experience with ResQ
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work well under pressure and be conscious of deadlines
• Hands-on mentality with the aptitude to discuss and challenge key business and technical requirements
• Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
