NOC Engineer - Perm/Contract - Tasmania

Requirements

• 2-3 years commercial experience in a Network Operations Centre, ISP environment preferred
  
• Knowledge of routers and switches andlayer data communications protocols
  
• Ability to verify that switches and routers as well as their configured network services and protocols, operate as intended within a given network specification
  
• Ability to log and troubleshoot core signalling (HLR, HSS), SIM authentication, Call Flow, Trace a fault from Customer Equipment to Core etc
  
• Manage the provisioning/deprovisioning of SIMs
  
• L1, L2 and L3 experience with Nokia preferred. Private LTE experience, will be an add-on
  
• Good understanding of Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (NDAC) Dashboard and Helpdesk Portal preferred
  
• Ability to debug, co-ordinate, troubleshoot and debug issues as per the SLAs agreed.
  
• Will be part of the group for resolving Private LTE requests / issues
  
• Will be Responsible for L2 and L3 activities and Managing resolution and co-ordination between Field Onshore Engineer, Customer Service Operations team and the Vendor (Nokia)
  
• Thorough understanding of Incident and Problem Management, Change and Configuration Management and Service Level Management
  
• Very Good Communication Skills
