Our client is a leader in providing care to rural and regional Victorians living with disabilities, keeping all participants active and doing what they love.
They conveniently and confidently assist all their participants in accessing the services they need, such as health care, dental care, behavioural health, emergency care, social and domestic support, and public health services.
The role of Disability Support Worker is varied and open to those with a background or who are passionate about caring, nursing, social work, mental health, education and allied health.
The role and #x27;s focus is to work autonomously with vulnerable people, and as such, the suitable candidates will need exceptional communication, behaviour management and social skills.
In other words, you and #x27;ll be great at lifting people when they are down and motivating them to live fuller lives, but you also can calm someone down when they are anxious or frustrated or support them through trauma when they are chaotic.

The salary for the role is governed by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, and we are open to people with all levels of skills and experience.
Our client has multiple regional and rural Victoria vacancies, including Bendigo, Echuca, Castlemaine and Swan Hill. Travel expenses are reimbursed, and full training is provided for anyone new to the sector and working in the NDIS environment.
