Our client, an AI-Driven lending platform is looking to hire a talented individual to join their team.

The team consists of innovators and builders with domain expertise in the lending space. They

share a determination to continue leveraging data driven approaches to problem solving by building

products that the market needs and API integrations that drive value across the board.

Requirements

• +7 years of proven work experience in accounting, finance, or similar functions in a reputable organization
  
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  
• MSc/MBA is a plus
  
• Big 4 experience
  
• CFA/CPA/ACCA/ICAN is required
  
• Startup experience is a plus
  
• FinTech experience is a plus
  
• Can do attitude
  
• Attention to detail
  
• Quantitative thinking and analytical skills
  
• Tax compliance
  
• Bookkeeping management
  
• Managing external audits
  
• Financial reporting
  
• Payroll maintenance and fulfillment

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of junior accountants and prepare timely and accurate monthly

• Prepare insightful analysis comparing actual performance to variance
  
• Track key KPIs relevant to the business and provide commentary on periodic

• Lead annual external audit process
  
• Ensure tax compliance, including all necessary accounting work and tax agency

• Ensure all expenses are paid in a timely manner, including debt investor interest payments, payroll, vendor payments, and staff reimbursements
  
• Contribute to budgeting process
  
• Participate in product brainstorming sessions
  
• Participate in culture brainstorming sessions
  
• Supervise a team of junior accountants
  
• Oversee the allocation of resources and the management of cash flows
  
• Make recommendations to improve financial control
  
• Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
  
• Recommend cost-reducing solutions
