• As a Sales Engineer you will be the technical expert for our customers and partners. You’ll work closely with our sales teams by driving the creation of high-quality content and actively participating in technical engagements from the pre-sales phase to deployment phase (e.g. leading technical workshops)
• A large part of your role will be customer facing both through guidance and coaching on-site, online, and via telephone and through presentations to large audiences at shows and events. Therefore, you should have the ability and desire to make complex technical topics accessible to customers and partners who don’t understand it, as well as negotiating with experts.
• Understand customer problems, work with the sales team, and show a demonstrable solution that fits the customer’s needs.
• Provide Proof of Concept service to potential customers and help clients with planning and implementation of Trend Micro products.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers’ goals and objectives and articulate how our offerings address their needs with a Business Solution Proposal, RFI/RFP specification preparation.
• Act as a spokesperson during Press Interviews on technology or Security products with great skills in presenting and demonstrating security solutions to small groups, but also larger audiences.
• Develop healthy and trusted relationships with key partners in your region.
