IoT Project Manager

WHAT WE ARE HIRING

We are looking for anIoT Project Managerwill be responsible for managing the embedded software team contributing to the development of our smart cities solutions. The Project Manager will work with internal & external development teams, industry partners and architects on sensors, tele management, edge computing solutions & integration with lighting, pole & public infrastructure. The Project Manager is also responsible for delivering his part of the solution architecture on scope, time & budget in an agile development environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead a team of development engineers in an agile development environment;
• Lead a set of delivery suppliers, defining scope & accepting deliveries, and coordinating with purchase, legal, program & development director;
• Responsible for day-to-day management of the project, tracking work to be completed, setting deadlines and delegating tasks to the project team, while identifying any potential risks;
• Planning the resources needed in each step of the project, ensuring a smooth roll out;
• Responsible for controlling time management through a definition of activities, estimations of duration and development of a schedule;
• Develop and review budgets, and estimate costs as to not exceed resource allocations;
• Accountable for analyzing and managing project risk;
• Monitoring progressand keeping the project on track, while resolving effectively any issues (in scope, budget, resource allocation or other) that may arise;
• Deliver a reliable, secure, unit & system tested documented solutions integrated with other development teams (electronic, software & mechanical);
• Report progress, issues & risks in structured & recurrent way;
• Develop a network of contacts internally & within our network of partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Master s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science/Maths or any other Engineering degree;
• Min. 1 year in project management & team lead position;
• Expertise in development environment & tools;
• Ability to write high quality technical specifications;
• Abilityto define & execute a tests plan;
• Abilityto understand electronic hardware;
• Experience in large scale IoT solutions, embedded software and front & backend systems is a plus;
• Fluent in English;
• French and German is a plus.
