Accounting BA - Reporting

job responsibilities

• Working with business and IT teams that are both India-based and US-based
• Collaborate with team (process leads, vendors, solution integrators etc.) to clarify vision and scope
• Collaborate with peers, stakeholders and project team to secure commitments and respectfully hold them accountable.
• Applying business analysis principles to elicit, understand, document and prioritize the requirements. This may require leading meetings/workshops.
• Analyze business challenges, objectives and develop as is/to-be process diagrams.
• Assist with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options and communicating this back to stakeholders.
• Understand and document integration points impacting areas of responsibilities.
• Work with stake holders to document user acceptance, test criteria, and conduct validation activities
• Develop test cases, execute test plans, log defects, develop functional design specifications including workflow, validation and logic requirements. Ensure designs can be traced back to requirements.
• Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements
• Work with stake holders to define technical configuration and enhancement requirements for the tools.

experience & education required

• Minimum of 8 years IT experience
• Minimum of 5 years working in Infor M3 quality modules
• Minimum of 5 years in BA accounting
• Strong knowlegde on Reporting
• Ability to develop/update functional requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Economic thinking
• Can work independently with little supervision
• Ability to develop test cases and execute test plans
