Tasks

As Data Engineer you are going to play a key role in developing sustainable data-driven solutions leveraging current technologies to meet the Company s needs by applying domain-driven design practices to build out data applications. You will be working on designing a complete data warehouse and implementing a new ETL process along with improving and developing the data architecture.

Architect data solutions including data collection and storage, data modeling, and data consumption

• Work with stakeholders to implement end-to-end data solutions including data models that are optimized for business understandability and usability, data pipelines, and BI products to solve complex business requirements
• Design and implement Data Warehouse architectures
• Deliver data engineering solutions including ETL development
• Build, monitor, administrate and secure the Company's analytics infrastructure
• Design and build reporting and analysis tools that help streamline the business and make reporting, planning, and forecasting more efficient
• Implement and administrate security controls, privileges, and permissions around data and BI solutions

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar position
• Highly proficient with SQL and database general concepts
• Understanding of DW modeling methodologies
• Experience in the design and implementation of Data Infrastructure on AWS cloud
• Proficient in the following tools: Airflow, AWS Glue, AWS Lambdas, NIFI
• Proficient in one or more programming languages
• Familiar with data science model-building concepts is a plus
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
