Office Design Manager

Responsibilities:

• Design managers coordinate all design matters relating to a project and bring concepts to life.
• Helping to ensure that the teams building the project work together smoothly and that everything is delivered on time and within budget.
• A design manager typically starts work on a project before construction actually begins and continues until construction is complete and delivered to the client.
• Advising on the selection of materials, Chairing design meetings, writing reports and giving presentations.
• Having input into the tendering process when the main contractor is selecting, or having input into the selection of, specialist subcontractors or other organizations that will help complete the project work.
• Managing processes relating to the project's design to ensure that everything is delivered to schedule and budget, working very closely with site manager and other key members of the project team.
• Interfere in the aspects of procurement.
