A DAY IN THE LIFE:

The Business Process Improvement Analyst will use their Lean/Six Sigma certifications, establish framework and guidelines for departmental SOPs, processes, and improvement projects. The individual will provide support for a department in Customer Care, working closely with business leaders to implement actions to streamline, simplify and improve processes, driving a continuous improvement culture with systems & tools to drive productivity. You will work closely with IT business analyst counterpart to implement lean initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Along with key business partners, leads Lean initiatives that focus on identifying and delivering recommendations to drive strategic initiatives, business performance and operational improvements.

Implements continual process improvement activities through Kaizen events and Six Sigma methodology to optimize process efficiency, reduce costs and lead-times.

Executes process mapping, value stream mapping, process analysis, requirements assessment, gap/fit analysis and documentation experience to support the development of enterprise-wide business process optimization and transformation.

Leads the development of Lean processes, continuous improvement, standard work, problem solving, value stream mapping, training, and employee involvement.

Optimizes Customer Care processes to enhance product quality, efficiency, and process repeatability.

Identifies opportunities to increase efficiency through customization of the Clinical Training Coordination (CTC) business applications, and processes, which include CRM and other functional business systems.

Translates Customer Care business needs into actionable improvement items within CRM and other functional business systems. Tracks financial impact of implemented changes.

Works cross functionally with groups across the company on process improvement projects.

Strengthens Lean education programs and acts as Lean expert throughout the Customer Care department and the Tandem Organization overall.

Conducts training to Customer Care personnel on procedure, process, and system changes as needed.

Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, skills & abilities:


Solid experience in value stream mapping, lean methodology and Six Sigma tools.

Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and with MS Teams.

Proficient knowledge of Clinical Training Programs and systems preferred.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.

Working knowledge of process development, control, and optimization.

Highly skilled at clearly conveying in-depth knowledge to all levels within, and outside of, the organization.

Skilled at creating a cooperative team environment.

Ability to diagnose problems and identify and implement appropriate solutions.

Able to react to changing situations in a timely, calm, and confident manner.

Able to objectively evaluate situations and make recommendations for changes in light of overall project demands.


Minimum certifications/educational level:


B.S. or B.A. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Systems, Business, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.

Six Sigma certification; blackbelt and advanced certifications preferred.


Minimum experience:


3 plus years experience with Lean/Six Sigma projects, methodologies, and process improvements.

Knowledge of CRM preferably Microsoft Dynamics.

Experience in an GMP/ISO environment


Job Scope:


Having wide-ranging experience and resolves complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
