- Directing the operations of the library, including maintaining its collectibles and indexes, and supervising the academics, students and the public services.
- Submitting suggestions and drafting project proposals to develop the work of the library, in relevance to the developments occurring in digital communication, and IT sectors.
- Submitting annual reports that facilitate the decision-making process at the administrative and technical levels at the university.
- Directing and developing the University’s Institutional Repository (FADA).
- Supervising the technical work of the university sub-libraries according to the university’s laws and regulations.
- Supervising directly on the work library’s IT Unit, and its employees.
- Evaluating the needs of the library employees, and nominating them for trainings and capacity building programs.
