Gas Engineer

Are you a Gas Engineer that’s looking to further your career in the industry with a forward-thinking, busy company?

Our clients gas team is expanding!

They cover the Hampshire area and are looking for a qualified Gas engineer for installations into their customers properties.

You’ll have a proven track record of successful installations, be able to work from a preset schedule but as you’ll be working on your own a lot you’ll be able to work on your own initiative. Don’t worry though, you will have support from the business owner!

Exemplary customer service is a must as you’ll be in customers homes/landlord facing every day.

As a gas engineer, you’ll know that safety is a priority therefore you’ll have knowledge and understanding of gas safety regulations. You’ll also have a good understanding of health & safety regulations and will carry out all works in line with this

Standard hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (it would be preferable if you are available for callouts on evening and weekends - overtime rates are paid for this ad will be on a rota basis)

The ideal candidate will …

• Will take pride in their work and have a positive can-do attitude.
  
• Have experience in working in both occupied and empty private customers properties.
  
• Communication is key as you will be customer-facing therefore need to have the ability to explain to private customers using no jargon.
  
• Excellent customer experience is something our client prides themselves on therefore you will have exemplary customer service skills and attention to detail.
  
• Be able to work both on their own and in a team
  
• Have a full driving License
  

Current domestic ACS qualifications including the following are desirable-

• CCN1
  
• CEN1
  
• HTR1
  
• CPA1
  
• Part L Certificate
  
• Unvented Hot Water
