Tasks

Overall Purpose of the role

The Account Manager is responsible for our overall understanding and relationship with our client, has a finger on the pulse of the client's business and builds client sentiment towards AxeTrading and our products.

Role Description

  • Strategic Account Plans; strategically map out clients, establishing and strengthening relationships with decision-makers, end users, advocates and potential blockers.
  • Client Insight; understanding user workflow demand, competitor intelligence, and market trends.
  • Client Happiness; increasing client engagement and enhancing client feedback.
  • Revenue Growth; upsells and cross-sells.
  • Sales Growth; identify new groups/desks/individuals for potential footprint expansion.
  • Client Retention; lead SLA review meetings, delivering solutions for complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Develop Account Plans (consisting of organisation charts, SWOT analysis and quarterly goals) and Strategies to support and increase the presence of AxeTrader within existing client accounts.
  • Establish the preferred engagement model with clients; setting up touchpoints to ensure the health of the client is in a positive state.
  • Build deep relationships with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Be the 1st point of contact for all commercial and general enquiries
  • Explore upsell opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Log all client outreach activity in our CRM (HubSpot).
  • Keep a strategic account plan up to date for each client.
  • Gain a strong understanding of client technology and workflows.
  • Understand key competitors and position our products' advantages.
  • Work with your client base to design and execute gap analysis.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of the Financial Markets and Fixed Income trading workflows.
  • Experience with navigating complex organisations with a successful track record of surpassing revenue targets.
  • Knowledge and experience of order management technology, electronic trading experience.
  • A great problem solver who enjoys working closely with people.
  • Dedicated, aspiring individual with strong presentation and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to speak another European language would be advantageous.
  • Available for regular travel within the assigned geographical coverage.
