Structural Engineer

Job Description

• Design structures, such as steel structures and concrete.

• Create structural models by using computer-aided design software.

• Create drawings of concrete and steel structures,

•Assists other engineers in preparing project designs using the latest codes and standards.

•Performs simple structural design and calculations as directed by senior engineers.

•Use FEM design software, in-house spreadsheets and prepare manual calculation as required.

•Understand the limitations of software and can verify the software output.

•Prepares bill of material and manufacturing plans.

•Prepare reports, presentation as directed by senior engineers.

•Performs other duties of similar nature and level as assigned.

•Exhibits a willingness to assist mid and senior level engineers.

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Excellent Knowledge of Auto-CAD, SAP 2000, Microsoft Office.

• Additional programs that support the work (i.e. Staad.pro and Revit) are preferable.

• The ability to work effectively in a team.
