Job Summary

  • Provide support to the project team for all planning/project controls functions ensuring that issues within the programme are highlighted and understood
  • Review current reporting practices and outputs suggest and implement improvements
  • Give appropriate planning advice and direction to project team members & all relevant Stakeholders and produce programme assurance reports on our Client commissions
  • Produce progress reports showing variance against the baselines
  • Deliver Period Programme Updates and input to project reports
  • Coordinate between Clients and their Partners consultants and contractors programmes of works and compliance with the Project Programme. Reporting areas of non-compliance for resolution
  • As appropriate and required provide planning support to the bidding team to do all the activities necessary to submit the bidding documentations in time

Qualifications :

Skills and Competencies 

  • A minimum of 15 years post graduate experience at a senior level. preferably including experience in the Gulf region and having worked on the client side

  • A demonstrated successful track record of leading the project controls function of a large organisation involved with the design and construction of real estate projects

  • Current and detailed knowledge of various scheduling cost collaboration and other IT applications relevant to project controls including MS Word Excel. Access Project and Primavera P6

  • A successful track record of developing good relationships and networks within a large organisation and with external agencies

  • Able to represent the client with internal departments and external organisations in a professional and authoritative manner

  • Must have excellent skills in preparing reports drafting letters and making presentations to senior management and senior representatives of stakeholder organisations

Mandatory requirements 

  • University degree from a recognised university in a relevant field this may include but is not limited to: engineering project management program management

  • Must have excellent communication skills in English written and spoken; and Drivers Licence

Desirable requirements 

  • Highly desirable to have experience in a similar role in KSA and / or the Gulf region
  • Masters degree or higher qualification related to project controls

  • Be professionally qualified as PMP or equivalent
