Senior CivilStructural Engineer (Site Supervision)

Were looking for an experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our organization in Riyadh Saudi this role you will provide expert site supervision and technical oversight for structural construction projects ensuring quality safety and compliance with all applicable standards. You will serve as a key technical authority on-site making critical decisions and guiding the project team through complex structural challenges.

• Supervise and inspect all structural construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with approved designs specifications and quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed technical reports documenting progress issues and corrective actions
• Review and analyze structural designs drawings and construction methodologies; provide technical guidance to contractors and project teams
• Ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian building codes safety regulations and international construction standards
• Identify structural deficiencies or deviations from plans and implement corrective measures promptly
• Coordinate with contractors consultants and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project schedule
• Manage quality control testing and material verification; approve or reject work based on technical specifications
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including daily logs inspection records and technical correspondence
• Conduct safety audits and promote a culture of safety compliance across all construction activities
• Provide technical recommendations for design modifications or value engineering opportunities
• Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets from a structural engineering perspective
• Mentor junior engineers and support the professional development of the site team

Qualifications :

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in civil/structural engineering
• Minimum 5 years of direct site supervision experience on major construction projects
• Advanced proficiency in structural analysis and design principles
• Strong knowledge of building codes standards and construction regulations particularly Saudi Arabian standards
• Expertise in quality assurance and quality control methodologies
• Proficiency with structural analysis software and AutoCAD
• Excellent technical documentation and report writing skills
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management abilities
• Comprehensive understanding of construction safety protocols and regulations
• Analytical and problem-solving skill set with attention to detail

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**

• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
• Familiarity with project management tools and software
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel construction techniques
• Experience supervising large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects
• Professional engineering license or equivalent certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working on projects in the Middle East region
