- Oversee and coordinate all purchasing activities including vendor selection negotiation and order placement
- Analyze market trends pricing and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies
- Develop and implement costsaving initiatives while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand and fulfill departmental purchasing needs
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing records reports and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies local regulations and industry standards including HACCP
- Train and mentor junior purchasing staff to improve team performance
- Evaluate and implement new procurement technologies and processes to enhance efficiency
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and maintain strong supplier relationships
Qualifications :
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role
- Proficient in MS Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
- Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems
- Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with local suppliers and regulations in Saudi Arabia is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
