We are seeking a highly organized and customerfocused Assistant Reservation Manager to join our team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our reservations department you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations optimizing inventory and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the reservations department
- Collaborate with Sales Revenue Management and Marketing teams to develop and implement new packages and rates
- Oversee the training and development of Reservation Agents
- Monitor and balance guestroom inventory addressing capacity challenges and finding solutions
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to reservations
- Assist in creating and managing department incentive programs
- Support the scheduling and payroll processes for the reservations team
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of reservations staff
- Analyze sales reports and provide insights to optimize reservation strategies
- Stay updated on local tourism trends and adjust reservation strategies accordingly
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications :
- Previous leadership experience in a hotel environment preferably in reservations
- Strong working knowledge of Opera Property Manager System (PMS)
- Familiarity with Central Reservation Systems (CRS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Word and Excel
- Detailoriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environment
- Knowledge of revenue management principles
- Familiarity with local tourism and hospitality trends in Jeddah Saudi Arabia
- High School diploma required; Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
