Job Summary
- Carry out planned maintenance required on plant.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery equipment and facilities.
- Conduct calibration of all factory instruments.
- Identify and troubleshoot instrumentation electrical and automation issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including work orders repairs and equipment history.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts tools and supplies required for maintenance tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Assist in the installation setup and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
- Demonstrate proficiency in PLC Programming particularly Rockwell Automation RS Logix 5000 and Studio 5000.
- Demonstrate proficiency in VFD Configuration particularly Rockwell Automation Powerflex 525 and 755.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices in maintenance.
Requirements
- National Diploma or equivalent.
- Class One Instrumentation and Control Systems Journeyman Card.
- Minimum 2 years experience in the instrumentation field.
- Proven experience as an Instrumentation and Control Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical instrumentation and automation systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals blueprints and diagrams.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools equipment and techniques.
- Understanding of safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience in HVAC engineering Strong knowledge of technical engineering estimation and operational works Hands-on experience with: VRF Systems Chilled Water Systems Good understanding of HVAC project execution and site coordination Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred
