Job Summary
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements and internal controls to verify accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Perform detailed testing of transactions account balances and disclosures to identify potential risks or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with senior auditors and management to develop audit strategies plan engagement timelines and allocate resources effectively.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports highlighting findings recommendations and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings as required by local authorities.
- Maintain thorough documentation of audit procedures evidence and conclusions to support the final audit opinion.
- Engage with client personnel to gather necessary information and explain audit requirements in a professional manner.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in auditing or accounting preferably within the Zimbabwean market.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and audit tools to manage data and generate reports efficiently.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team to meet tight deadlines.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java C or Python Experience with software development tools and methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and teamwork abilities
