Job Summary
Assist in supervising daily production activities and ensuring production targets are achieved.
Assist with the production of PP woven bags in accordance with required specifications and quality standards.
Monitor PP woven bag printing operations ensuring correct colours designs print quality and registration.
Assist in operating monitoring and adjusting production and printing machinery.
Monitor machine performance and promptly identify operational problems.
Carry out basic machine troubleshooting and general maintenance.
Assist with preventive maintenance of production and printing machinery.
Report major mechanical and electrical faults to the Production Supervisor or Maintenance team.
Monitor production processes to minimise downtime waste and rejected products.
Conduct routine quality checks during production and printing.
Ensure correct handling and utilisation of raw materials.
Assist with production planning work allocation and deployment of production employees.
Maintain accurate production machine and downtime records.
Ensure production areas and machinery are kept clean organised and safe.
Ensure employees comply with company procedures health and safety requirements and production standards.
Assist in training and guiding production employees on correct operating procedures.
Support investigations into production problems and implementation of corrective actions.
Work closely with the Production Quality Control Stores and Maintenance teams.
Perform any other production-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
At least a Diploma in Production Management Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
At least 23 years relevant experience in PP woven bag manufacturing.
Practical experience in PP woven bag printing is essential.
Hands-on experience in general machine maintenance troubleshooting and fault identification.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Knowledge of production processes quality control and workplace health and safety.
