Job Summary
Preparation of Trial balance & year-end financial pack.
Preparation of operational cashflows.
Management of debtors and creditors.
Maintenance of Cash book records and bank reconciliations.
Accurate maintenance of Intercompany ledger records.
General Ledger Reconciliation.
Attends to Internal and external financial Audits.
Ensure compliance with all statutory provisions (VAT PAYE WTAX EMA).
Maintenance of the Asset Register.
Development and coaching of subordinates.
Requirements
A first Degree in Accounting or equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution plus at least 3 years post-qualification experience in a mining or manufacturing environment.
A professional accounting qualification like CIMA and ACCA is a distinct advantage.
Working knowledge of IFRS and International Accounting Standards (IAS) is a must.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an ERP system preferably SAP (Financial Accounting Module) will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of payroll management.
Working knowledge of safety management system(s) applicable to mining operations/companies preferably the NOSA and/or ISO Systems.
Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and written.
Clean Class 4 Drivers Licence.
Required Skills:
Qualification: MBA/PGDM from reputed B-school. Experience: 20 years in corporate sales institutional leasing or real estate investment. Requirements: Proven success in closing large deals and strong industry networks. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
