Job Summary

  • Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations job allocation and workflow.
  • Lead motivate and monitor technicians performance and productivity against set KPIs.
  • Ensure quality repairs accurate diagnostics and timely job completion minimizing rework and comebacks.
  • Monitor workshop turnaround times productivity and revenue and address performance gaps.
  • Ensure proper use and control of tools equipment spare parts and workshop resources.
  • Enforce compliance with Plawn SOPs operational procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health safety PPE and housekeeping standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to workshop staff.
  • Handle customer-related workshop issues and ensure high service and workmanship standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency reduce wastage and improve workshop profitability.
  • Prepare workshop performance reports and elevate operational technical and staffing issues to management.


Requirements
  • Diploma or relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology Automotive Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in automotive workshop operations with proven supervisory or team-lead experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics repairs servicing and workshop equipment.
  • Proven ability to manage teams meet KPIs and improve workshop productivity and turnaround times.
  • Good problem-solving leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in SOP quality control health & safety and workshop resource management.
  • A valid Class 1/2//4 drivers licence would be an added advantage.
