Job Summary
Manage site operations from mobilisation through to completion.
* Plan and coordinate daily works to achieve project milestones and programme.
* Lead site teams supervisors operators and subcontractors.
* Coordinate and optimise plant labour materials and project resources.
* Manage earthworks and civil construction activities including lines levels grades and quantities.
* Monitor productivity plant utilisation quantities costs and progress.
* Identify and manage delays variations additional works and commercial risks.
* Liaise with clients consultants and project teams while maintaining HSE and quality standards.
* Maintain accurate site production and progress records.
* Identify problems early and implement practical solutions to keep works on programme.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years relevant construction experience in a Site Engineer Site Agent or similar site management role.
* Strong practical experience in earthworks and civil infrastructure construction.
* Proven experience managing heavy earthmoving plant and site teams.
* Ability to interpret construction drawings specifications levels grades and quantities.
* Practical understanding of surveying and setting out.
* Strong understanding of programming productivity resource planning and plant utilisation.
* Commercial awareness including measurement variations and cost control.
* Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
* Valid drivers licence and willingness to work on projects throughout Zimbabwe.
Required Skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience in HVAC engineering Strong knowledge of technical engineering estimation and operational works Hands-on experience with: VRF Systems Chilled Water Systems Good understanding of HVAC project execution and site coordination Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred
