Job Summary

Manage the process for developing risk policies and procedures.

Manage the implementation of all aspects of the risk function.

Identify and evaluate departmental risks and control self-assessments.

Monitor major and critical risk issues. Act as the expect and advisor on risk related issues within the organization.

Provide advice and expertise to the Stakeholders.

Manage the corporate risk and control assessment reporting process

Assist in preparation of project management documents.

Conduct compliance & risk assessments.

Monitor external indicators and market developments.

Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent will report to the Head Audit and Inspectorate and will be responsible for the following among other duties;

Manage the process for developing risk policies and procedures.

Manage the implementation of all aspects of the risk function.

Identify and evaluate departmental risks and control self-assessments.

Monitor major and critical risk issues. Act as the expect and advisor on risk related issues within the organization.

Provide advice and expertise to the Stakeholders.

Manage the corporate risk and control assessment reporting process

Assist in preparation of project management documents.

Conduct compliance & risk assessments.

Monitor external indicators and market developments.

Requirements

A Degree in Risk Management or equivalent

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management/control compliance audit or business support.

Project management experience an advantage

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Statistics Finance or a related field. 25 years of relevant work experience in data analysis business analytics or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables VLOOKUP macros). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation. Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools processes and business challenges.
