Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
-Teach and provide practical training in newswriting reporting and online journalism;
-Supervise and mentor students in practical media production work
-Support teaching and learning in converged media environments; and
-Contribute to departmental media training and production activities.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Journalism and Media Studies (or equivalent) from a recognised university with a 2.1 or better addition applicants must have at least three (3) years of post-qualification practical newsroom experience. Possession of a Masters degree in Journalism and Media Studies along with relevant industry certifications or demonstrable proficiency in digital and multimedia journalism will be an added advantage
