Job Summary

-Provide strategic leadership and direction for the companys operations.

-Develop and implement business strategies that promote sustainable growth and profitability.

-Oversee exploration mining and mineral processing activities.

Ensure compliance with -Zimbabwean mining legislation environmental regulations and occupational health and safety standards.

-Lead the development and execution of operational and financial plans.

-Identify new mining opportunities and investment prospects.

-Oversee budgeting financial performance and cost control measures.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies regulatory authorities investors suppliers and local communities.

-Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

-Manage risk and ensure sound corporate governance practices.

-Lead and mentor senior management to achieve organizational objectives.

-Drive business development initiatives and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

-A Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering Metallurgical Engineering Geology Mineral Processing Engineering Business Administration or a related field.

-A Masters Degree (MBA or related postgraduate qualification) will be an added advantage.

-A minimum of 10 years senior management experience preferably within the mining industry.

-Strong knowledge of exploration mining and mineral processing operations.

-Sound understanding of Zimbabwes mining laws and regulatory framework.

-Excellent leadership strategic planning and decision-making skills.

-Strong financial management and business development capabilities.

-Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Statistics Finance or a related field. 25 years of relevant work experience in data analysis business analytics or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables VLOOKUP macros). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation. Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools processes and business challenges.
