Job Summary
- Prepare and analyze financial data in strict adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
- Manage comprehensive payroll functions and ensure timely accurate processing of employee compensation.
- Utilize advanced ERP systems with specific expertise in SAP Financial Accounting alongside standard Microsoft Office applications to streamline financial operations.
- Oversee financial processes within a mining or manufacturing context ensuring alignment with industry-specific safety management protocols such as NOSA and ISO systems.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication regarding financial matters across all organizational levels both through verbal interaction and written documentation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support audits through the application of robust accounting principles.
Requirements
A first Degree in Accounting or equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution plus at least 3 years post-qualification experience in a mining or manufacturing environment.
A professional accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA is a distinct advantage.
Working knowledge of IFRS and International Accounting Standards (IAS) is a must.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an ERP system preferably SAP (Financial Accounting Module) will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of payroll management.
Working knowledge of safety management system(s) applicable to mining operations/companies preferably the NOSA and/or ISO Systems.
Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing.
Clean Class 4 Drivers Licence.
Required Skills:
Qualification: MBA/PGDM from reputed B-school. Experience: 20 years in corporate sales institutional leasing or real estate investment. Requirements: Proven success in closing large deals and strong industry networks. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
