Job Summary
Technical Supervision: Interpret engineering drawings layouts and specifications for site teams ensuring work complies with design requirements.
Quality & Safety Compliance: Conduct quality assurance inspections resolve on-site technical faults and enforce health safety and environmental regulations in line with Zambian standards (such as NCC or EIZ guidelines).
Resource & Material Control: Manage site resources equipment utilization and requisition of materials against the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to minimize waste.
Progress Reporting: Prepare daily or weekly site reports monitor project schedules and escalate critical issues or delays to upper management or the Project Manager.
Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical work experience in site supervision technical management or construction execution.
Professional Registration: Fully paid-up membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) and a valid practicing certificate or relevant regulatory registration WITH Engineering Registration Board
Core Skills: Proficiency in technical drawing interpretation computer literacy (MS Office AutoCAD or similar design software) and strong leadership or decision-making abilities.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Statistics Finance or a related field. 25 years of relevant work experience in data analysis business analytics or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables VLOOKUP macros). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation. Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools processes and business challenges.
