Job Summary
Ensuring that all key Human Resource operational processes are delivered successfully to the business including pay run input and reconciliation recruitment and all other cyclical activities
Interpreting advising on and ensuring compliance with relevant Human Resources policies ethical and legal requirements.
Contributing to the review and update of Human Resources policies and procedures in consultation with employees and line managers and educating and coaching line managers on such matters.
Assisting line managers in Employee Relations and Organizational design standards.
Assisting employees in relation to new and existing Human Resources policies and procedures
Ensuring that employee data is accurate and correct at all times ensuring that all is in line with the government requirements
Collating and managing data for the document submissions
Preparation of data for statutory reporting and approvals i.e. overtime exemption
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with line managers and employees.
Ensuring Corporate and HR Governance are adhered to and applied.
Bachelors degree in human resource management or related field.
Masters degree in human resource management will be an added advantage
5 years experience in a human capital role covering the key Human Capital focus areas.
Experience working within a structured HR framework preferably in the Minning environment.
Exposure to Union Management an added advantage.
A member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
