Job Summary
Operations Management: Direct day-to-day rig operations site mobilization and field execution strategies.
Safety & Compliance (HSSE): Enforce strict health safety security and environmental regulations with the authority to stop unsafe work.
Budget & Resource Control: Track project costs manage Authorizations for Expenditure (AFE) and allocate equipment and personnel efficiently.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between clients subcontractors technical departments and local authorities.
Project Closeout: Deliver end-of-well reports document lessons learned and finalize contractor invoices.
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Mechanical or Civil) or a related Earth Sciences field like Hydrogeology.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in drilling operations rig management or groundwater/water infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of drilling methods safety standards (well control/HSSE) risk assessments and procurement processes.
Certification: Professional Engineering membership with ERB with clean Practicing Certificate
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Statistics Finance or a related field. 25 years of relevant work experience in data analysis business analytics or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables VLOOKUP macros). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation. Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools processes and business challenges.
