Job Summary
- Develop & implement Group-wide HSE strategies policies & standards.
- Champion a proactive safety health & environmental culture.
- Ensure full compliance with health safety & environmental regulations.
- Lead risk assessments hazard identification & mitigation.
- Monitor HSE performance via audits inspections & KPIs.
- Lead incident investigations & corrective/preventive actions.
- Manage environmental compliance waste & sustainability initiatives.
- Oversee emergency preparedness business continuity & crisis response.
- Coordinate HSE audits training programs & executive reporting.
- BSc in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science/Management Engineering or related (MSc a plus).
- NEBOSH Diploma IOSH ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification (mandatory).
- 10 years in HSE management including 5 years in senior leadership.
- Proven track record managing HSE systems across multiple business units.
- Strong knowledge of OHS legislation & international best practices.
- Manufacturing mining construction agriculture or energy experience an advantage.
- Familiarity with IFC / World Bank ESS performance standards.
- Excellent leadership communication & stakeholder management skills.
- Professional HSE body membership & regulatory-agency experience a plus.
