Job Summary
Our client is a leading global building materials company who is looking for a qualified Technical Engineer to provide technical expertise and project support for waterproofing and construction chemical solutions.
Work closely with the Project Sales team to support business development by providing technical consultation on tile adhesive waterproofing construction chemicals and related construction methods.
Provide in-depth technical consultation together with Specification and Sales teams to project stakeholders including developers design consultants main contractors project management teams subcontractors and other relevant parties.
Conduct product application and installation training for internal Sales teams and external customers.
Prepare technical documentation product application guidelines and construction method statements for relevant products and solutions.
Coordinate with Quality Control and R&D teams to support internal product quality assessments and technical evaluations.
Provide on-site consultation on construction methods and installation practices and guide contractors during project execution.
Support the investigation and resolution of customer complaints or technical concerns relating to products applications and installation directly at project sites.
Assist contractors in inspecting and evaluating installation quality when required.
Support product and application testing including advising contractors on testing procedures quality assessment methods and sample preparation in accordance with applicable standards.
Cover projects across Northern Vietnam and provide regular activity reports and technical recommendations to management
Bachelors degree in Construction Materials Engineering Construction Chemicals or a related discipline.
Approximately 35 years of experience in construction materials construction chemicals waterproofing or a related technical field.
Strong knowledge of construction building materials waterproofing applications and project execution.
Good teamwork and ability to coordinate effectively with Sales and other relevant functions.
Strong communication and presentation capabilities for both internal training and external customer consultation.
Ability to handle technical inquiries and customer complaints effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Detail-oriented responsible eager to learn and able to perform effectively under pressure.
Willingness to travel frequently across Northern Vietnam to support project sites Sales teams and customers

Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Quality Safety Management or an engineering-related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Strong practical knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 ISO standards and Vietnam laboratory accreditation requirements under BoA/VILAS (or equivalent frameworks) Proven experience with quality management systems and international quality and safety standards is preferred. Experience in Compliance Management and Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) is an advantage. Strong English communication skills. Excellent organizational problem-solving and stakeholder communication abilities. Mature team player with high self-discipline a results-oriented mindset and demonstrated leadership capability.
