Technical Assistant to Aftersales Director
Job Summary
Technical Support & Case Coordination:
- Monitor consolidate and analyze technical issues reported from vehicles in the market
- Support handling critical repeated or safety-related technical cases
- Track and follow up technical cases such as TIR FQR field issues recalls and service campaigns
- Act as a technical liaison between the Director and related departments.
Warranty & Quality Data Analysis:
- Collect and analyze warranty claims failure modes and quality trends
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc technical and warranty reports for the Director and Executive Management
- Monitor key KPIs including Warranty Cost Claim Rate Repeat Repair Rate and Technical Closure Rate
- Identify early warning signs of potential quality or warranty risks.
Management & Strategic Support
- Prepare meeting agendas technical reports and presentation materials for the Director
- Track action items and ensure execution of the Directors instructions
- Support development review and improvement of after-sales technical and warranty processes
- Participate in quality improvement and warranty cost reduction projects
- Bachelors degree in automotive engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics
- Minimum 35 years of experience in automotive technical support after-sales warranty or quality functions
- Experience working with OEMs manufacturing plants or authorized dealer networks is highly preferred
- Solid understanding of vehicle systems including powertrain chassis electrical/electronic systems and ADAS
- Ability to read understand and apply service manuals technical bulletins and engineering documents
- Strong data analysis skills related to warranty and quality (Excel Power BI is an advantage)
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Logical structured thinking with high attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and handle confidential information
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Good command of English in reading writing and professional communication
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Automotive Engineering or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive diagnostics vehicle troubleshooting or repair at authorized dealerships or automotive companies. Experience working with automotive diagnostic equipment scan tools and software update platforms. Prior experience with FOTA processes is highly preferred. Strong understanding of electric vehicle systems automotive electronics and software architecture. Proficient in English (reading writing and communication). Experience in automotive OEMs is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
