Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Service Engineer responsible for providing technical support on-site project implementation commissioning troubleshooting and maintenance of Solar PV Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Site Power solutions. The role focuses on ensuring system reliability service quality and customer satisfaction.
Provide remote and on-site technical assistance including troubleshooting fault diagnosis and root cause analysis.
Support on-site project execution covering installation supervision commissioning testing and acceptance of Solar PV BESS and Site Power systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance system inspections and resolution of technical issues to maintain reliable system performance.
Prepare technical documentation service reports training materials and spare parts requirements.
Collaborate with customers EPC contractors and project teams to ensure effective project implementation and handover.
Promote service solutions and identify potential opportunities for service business development.
Ensure all service activities comply with applicable safety standards quality requirements and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Automation Renewable Energy or related disciplines.
Previous experience in Solar PV BESS Site Power or power electronics is preferred.
Practical experience in on-site installation commissioning testing and troubleshooting of electrical power systems.
Relevant technical certifications are considered an advantage.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings single-line diagrams (SLDs) wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
Familiarity with electrical testing equipment commissioning procedures site safety requirements and permit-to-work procedures.
Ability to coordinate effectively with EPC contractors customers and project teams throughout site execution and acceptance.
Good written and spoken English communication skills including the ability to understand technical documentation prepare reports and communicate with international teams.
Willingness to travel frequently and work at project sites when required.

University degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Computer Science Information Technology or other related fields. Experience in designing implementing and operating DR/DC systems. Strong experience operating servers and VMware virtualization infrastructure. Experience with Linux and system services. Experience operating Nginx proxy systems. Experience and knowledge of Windows services and servers. Experience working with backup systems and solutions. Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix SolarWinds. Knowledge of log collection analysis and visualization tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack Splunk etc. Knowledge of networking and security is an advantage. Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible Puppet or Chef is an advantage. Scripting skills (e.g. Bash Python PowerShell). Knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases is an advantage. Knowledge of container orchestration and management tools like Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage. Preference for international certifications in systems networking or security fields. Minimum 5 years of experience in System Administration or similar roles. Preference for experience in securities finance banking or insurance sectors. Ability to research and explore features of new technologies for application in the companys model if suitable. Ability to handle pressure and enthusiasm for creative work. Teamwork skills.
