Job Summary
This position is open to local Vietnamese candidates and is based in Vietnam with regional responsibilities covering Southeast Asia (SEA).
The role focuses on technical evaluation engineering design project budgeting vendor coordination and implementation support for On-site & Pipeline Bulk (OSP) projects across the region.
Candidates must have professional proficiency in English and be willing to travel frequently across Southeast Asia for short business trips (less than one week per trip) to conduct site surveys and coordinate with regional and country teams.
Technical Solutions & Site Surveys
Conduct technical site surveys across Southeast Asia to assess project feasibility utility requirements and appropriate equipment sizing.
Evaluate technical conditions and requirements to support the development of suitable engineering solutions.
Engineering Design & Budgeting
Develop preliminary engineering designs and technical specifications for On-site & Pipeline Bulk (OSP) projects.
Prepare preliminary capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX) estimates to support project planning and evaluation.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Lead technical and commercial evaluations bidding processes and the selection of suppliers and contractors for regional projects.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders throughout vendor assessment and selection processes.
Project Execution & Technical Support
Provide technical assistance during project installation and commissioning.
Collaborate with Country teams to ensure project execution is aligned with technical requirements and regional objectives.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in engineering project development or technical project management.
Experience in Industrial Gases Petrochemicals Process Engineering Energy or Heavy Engineering industries is preferred.
Practical knowledge and experience in pressure vessels piping design and sizing metallic structures valve and material selection and high-level project budgeting.
Experience in telemetry systems rotating equipment maintenance or vibration analysis is a strong advantage.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Willingness to undertake frequent short business trips across Southeast Asia generally lasting less than one week per trip.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field Economics Commerce Business Administration. Good communication quick thinking adaptability confidence responsibility and dedication. At least 10 years of experience in leasing commercial centers/shophouses and 2 years in a management position. Understanding of the real estate market especially commercial leasing. Knowledge of relevant real estate laws. Ability to manage oversee and coordinate work execution; strong ability to handle pressure. Proficient in English.
