JOB OVERVIEW
Transform product designs into 100% excellent products in mass production while guaranteeing the best ratio of Quality Lead Time Cost and Environmental Impact (CO2).
- Guarantee Product Quality & Compliance: Ensure 100% product quality in-line and before shipment. Make sure suppliers follow company compliance standards and local regulations regarding quality safety environment toxicology and social compliance.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Support industrial partners in their journey toward operational excellence. Improve existing production processes using problem-solving tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Optimize Cost & Efficiency: Look for continuous improvement opportunities to optimize production efficiency reduce manufacturing costs and ensure long-term competitiveness.
- Build Supplier Autonomy: Plan and conduct factory assessments. Help suppliers enhance their Quality System and build autonomy in managing their industrial processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Quality Management (70%)
- Monitor and improve the quality performance of your suppliers.
- Control product quality on the production line and before shipment.
- Lead suppliers improve their Quality systems through control plans and audits.
- Ensure suppliers respect company standards for safety environment toxicology and social compliance.
2. Industrialization (30%)
- Manage sample development and check technical requirements for mass production.
- Build and manage the industrialization plan to ensure on-time delivery.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze cost breakdowns and negotiate product prices.
- Lead suppliers become independent in managing their industrial processes.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the textile garment or glove industry (Quality or Industrialization experience is preferred).
- Good leadership problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proactive open-minded and a quick learner.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese (IELTS 6.0 equivalent).
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Quality System Management.
- Passionate about sports and enjoys working on the field.
- Willingness to work and be based in Hanoi with frequent travel to factories (average 3 times a week). Factory location: Thai Nguyen.
