Procurement Specialist Packaging Development

• Sourcing & Purchasing: Source evaluate and develop local and international packaging suppliers; obtain quotations conduct cost comparisons and negotiate pricing MOQ payment terms lead times and other commercial conditions.
• Material Availability: Manage purchase orders and work closely with Planning Production and Warehouse to ensure packaging materials are available according to production requirements while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance on quality cost delivery and service; resolve delivery or quality issues and develop alternative/backup suppliers for critical materials.
• Packaging & Quality Coordination: Work with QA/QC R&D and Production to ensure packaging materials meet approved specifications food-safety requirements and production needs. Coordinate samples technical documents and production trials for new materials or suppliers.
• New Packaging Development: Support new products and packaging formats by sourcing samples quotations prototypes tooling and alternative packaging solutions.
• Cost & Procurement Control: Monitor packaging costs identify cost-saving opportunities maintain accurate supplier/purchasing data and ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Procurement Business Packaging Technology or related field.;
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience at a manufacturing company preferably in food FMCG;
• Packaging procurement experience is strongly preferred;
• Good negotiation cost analysis supplier management and coordination skills;
• Good English communication and comfortable with Microsoft Office Power Point;
• Experience with imports and Incoterms;
• Chinese speaking is a big plus
