Job Summary
As part of our Procurement transformation journey this role is designed to elevate capability streamline operations and drive strategic value creation. The Procurement Manager will lead high-impact sourcing strategies and execution across categories while enabling digital transformation AI adoption and process optimization aligned with evolving business priorities.
This role requires a strategic insight-driven capability acting as a key partner to stakeholders and a driver of Procurement excellence in Vietnam
Position Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sourcing
Lead end-to-end sourcing strategies and execution for key categories (e.g. Technology Professional Services IT Conference Meeting Events Facilities ).
Develop category strategies aligned with business objectives focusing on value creation innovation and risk management beyond cost savings.
Drive supplier segmentation strategic partnerships and performance management to ensure long-term value and resilience.
Lead negotiations for critical contracts ensuring favorable commercial outcomes secured while maintaining supplier collaboration.
2. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across functions ensuring Procurement is engaged early in planning cycles.
Translate business needs into sourcing strategies with a strong focus on customer-centricity and agility.
Drive compliance with procurement policies and frameworks while enhancing user experience in sourcing and buying processes.
3. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
Identify and lead initiatives to simplify standardize and automate procurement processes.
Drive continuous improvement aligned with global best practices and transformation priorities.
Strengthen procurement governance including vendor risk management contract compliance and audit readiness.
4. Digitalization & AI Enablement
Champion adoption and optimization of procurement platforms.
Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven insights automation and analytics into sourcing and procurement operations.
Support the development of data-driven decision-making including predictive analytics for demand pricing and supplier performance.
5. Reporting & Insights
Deliver actionable insights through spend analytics savings tracking and performance reporting.
Provide transparency on key procurement KPIs including cost efficiency compliance supplier performance and risk.
Use data to influence business decisions and support strategic planning.
6. Transformation & Change Management
Actively contribute to Procurement transformation initiatives including AI roadmap and operating model evolution.
Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption of new tools processes and ways of working.
Mentor and uplift procurement capability within the team
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Finance or related discipline (Masters degree is a plus).
10 years of experience in Indirect Procurement with exposure to complex categories such as Technology Professional Service IT Conference Meeting Event Office renovation.
Proven track record in strategic sourcing contract negotiation and supplier management.
Strong English communication skills with both internal and external partners.
Experience with procurement platforms (e.g. Ivalua SAP Ariba Fieldglass or equivalent).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to digital transformation automation or AI-related initiatives is highly valued.
Experience in a multinational or matrix organization and team management is preferred.
Advanced Negotiation & Influencing: Strong ability to manage complex negotiations and influence senior stakeholders.
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of commercial drivers cost structures and supplier economics.
Data & Digital Mindset: Comfortable leveraging data analytics digital tools and AI-enabled insights to drive decisions.
Process Excellence: Proven capability in process redesign simplification and operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and seniority levels.
Change Agility: Ability to lead and adapt in a fast-evolving transformation-focused environment.
