General Manager Sofitel Diamond Crown Hai Phong Pre Opening

You will be responsible for:

During Pre-opening phase :

• Drive pre-opening timelines and ensure operational readiness
• Manage budgets forecasts CAPEX and cost controls
• Support commercial strategy positioning and pricing
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Establish SOPs controls and risk management frameworks
• Recruit build and train a high-performing team
• Oversee brand standards procurement and final readiness inspections

Upon successful opening of the hotel :

• Lead the overall management and strategic direction of the property and support all departments in the achievement of operational targets
• Maximize the property in terms of profit and management of financials
• Ensure full compliance with operating controls and legislation in all areas of the business
• Recruit and retain a high-performing team
• Champion employee engagement and promote a collaborative and inclusive environment where all employees are encouraged to provide input
• Develop relationships within the local community
• Driving service culture
• Maintain product and service quality standards to exceed guest expectations
• Promote the brand and ensure all brand essentials and standards are in place and executed consistently.

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

• At least 8 years experience in luxury hotel management including pre-opening experience
• Strong Educational background including a Degree
• Strong command of English both written and spoken
• Good understanding of the local market and previous work experience in Vietnam is an advantage
• Experience in managing relationships with hotel owners
