We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Software Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Digital Services Vietnam Co. Ltd. This role involves acting as a crucial link between our Japanese and Vietnamese development teams ensuring seamless communication understanding of technical requirements and successful project delivery.

What youll be doing

• Acts as the bi-lingual interface between the customer teams and the delivery pod translating field and business requirements into engineering-ready specifications and relaying technical decisions back in the customers language.

• Works alongside the Field SMEs and Infra SPOCs to capture domain logic field constraints and acceptance validation criteria so nothing is lost between requirement and build.

• Keeps the productization effort grounded in real site conditions as the solution moves from one-off prototype to reusable customer-facing application.

What you bring to the team

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of the full software development life cycle.

• Fluent in both Japanese (N2 level or higher preferred) and English (professional working proficiency) with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

• Experience working in a global team or with Japanese clients is a significant advantage.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
