This isnt just about driving a machine. Its about helping create the magic that happens on the rink. Hockey games figure skating shows public sessions and special events all depend on you to deliver smooth safe and professional-quality ice.
- What Youll Do
Operate the Zamboni to resurface and maintain the rink between events
Ensure the ice is clean smooth and hazard-free
Follow all safety guidelines and keep skaters and staff safe throughout operations
Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the Zamboni
Stay on schedule so events run smoothly and the ice is ready when needed
Communicate with rink management and event teams to coordinate resurfacing times
Keep the Zamboni and surrounding work areas clean and well-maintained
Maintain accurate records of resurfacing fuel use and maintenance
Support other rink operations including facility upkeep equipment setup and general maintenance task - This position will operate the Zamboni on both the indoor and outdoor rink as needed
What Makes You a Great Fit
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience operating a Zamboni or similar machinery is required; ongoing training and development opportunities will be provided throughout the season.
Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Comfortable working in a cold environment
Great time management and communication skills
Reliable positive and ready to contribute to an excellent guest experience

The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
