Youth League Director

Director for the Youth League for the 2026-2027 school year. Position is responsible for running the Youth Basketball League for Berea Community Schools.

Certification Requirement

Possession of certification as required by Kentucky law.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Kentucky drivers license.

Insurability by the Districts liability insurance carrier.

FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT STATE LAW REQUIRES A NATIONAL AND STATE CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK AND A LETTER PROVIDED BY THE INDIVIDUAL FROM THE CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES STATING THE APPLICANT HAS NO ADMINISTRATIVE FINDINGS OF CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT FOUND THROUGH A BACKGROUND CHECK OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT RECORDS MAINTAINED BY THE CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES.

Duties will consist of:

• sign-ups
• collection of fees
• promoting sponsorship for teams
• developing league game and practice schedules
• assigning officials
• arranging for coaches
• concession and gate workers
• end of season awards
• depositing of money to school activity account
• all paperwork
• must follow ALL Redbook Guidelines
