Are you passionate about industrial processes and looking for an enriching experience abroad Join our team in Cedar Rapids Iowa USA as a Yeast Extract Process Engineer under a VIE contract!
The job at a glance
For 18 months you will be involved in optimizing production processes supporting new equipment start-ups and contributing to new product development.
What you will do
- Optimize production processes (autolysis microfiltration drying etc.) alongside the groups industrial management
- Support the drying department at Cedar Rapids
- Conduct and coordinate studies and continuous improvement actions in terms of time organization and cost
- Participate in the start-up of new installations
- Lead industrial trials
- Take on other assigned projects
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or above preferably in food-industrial engineering
- At least 1 year of industrial field experience (postgraduate)
- Fluent English is mandatory
- Solid knowledge of unit operations of industrial processes
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment with autonomy initiative and teamwork skills
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on engineering mindset

You must be a citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA)
You must not have already completed a VIE assignment
