Yard Helper

Aldridge is seeking Yard Helper to join our dynamic and energetic team. This role is responsible for performingoperational duties related to receiving storing and delivering include inspecting and maintaining equipment loading unloading and hauling heavy equipment.

What youll do:

• Maintain safe job site.
• Loads unloads and transports heavy trucks equipment and material.
• Material shipping and receiving procedures.
• Maintain equipment and report equipment abuse or component tampering.
• Follows driver/yard procedures and responsibilities.
• Performs cleanup at end of day or when job is completed including cleaning tools putting tools in proper storage areas and sweeping floors.
• Advise supervisor immediately if additional work is needed.
• Interact effectively courteously and professionally with customers vendors and other employees.
• Be involved in the daily operation of the warehouse and be able to fillin during the absence of the supervisor.

What we offer:

The hourly pay for this role is between $18.00 - $21.00. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors including: location work experience education training transferable skills business needs and market conditions. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

This is a union position and provides union benefits.
