Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a licensed X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a hospital radiology department. The technologist will provide high-quality radiographs while maintaining patient safety radiation protection and compliance with hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures
- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal image quality
- Operate and maintain radiology imaging equipment
- Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
- Document imaging procedures and maintain patient records
- Assist physicians and healthcare teams with diagnostic imaging needs
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms
- Adhere to departmental and hospital policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)
- ARRT Certification required
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- BLS (AHA) Certification required
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
