Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures ensuring patient safety maintaining imaging quality standards and supporting efficient clinical operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety
Operate radiologic imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images
Maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection prevention standards
Review radiographic images for quality and accuracy
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care
Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning appropriately
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Deliver compassionate patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Associates Degree required (Community College or equivalent program)
Licensure & Certifications:
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.) required
ARRT Certification required
Current AHA BLS Certification required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience required
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology procedures and imaging equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and patient safety practices
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
