X-Ray Technician
Poughkeepsie NY Part-Time $50-$55 per Hour
The IMA Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our team home-based out of our Poughkeepsie NY office. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule of three days per week Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with occasional travel between our Poughkeepsie and Middletown locations.
In this role you will perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and support physicians by providing high-quality imaging services in a professional healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment while following all safety protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support medical evaluations.
- Travel as needed between Poughkeepsie and Middletown locations.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist with applicable certification/licensure.
- Completion of clinical externship training.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Reliable transportation for travel between Poughkeepsie and Middletown.
