Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Translation Linguistics Modern Languages Foreign Languages or a closely related field.
Formal coursework or certificate-level training in professional translation.
Demonstrated proficiency in the language(s) for which translation services are provided.
Responsibilities:
Provide written translation services as requested by the District.
Translate documents and other written materials accurately into requested languages.
Preserve the meaning intent and context of source materials.
Review completed translations for accuracy grammar terminology and completeness.
Meet established deadlines and turnaround requirements for assigned projects.
Communicate promptly regarding assignments availability and service requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of documents and information received during assignments.
Provide translation services in accordance with District requirements and professional standards.
Maintain consistent quality across completed translation assignments.
Perform other related translation duties as assigned.
Any other duties as assigned.
