Location: Prince Frederick Maryland
Position: Full-Time On-Site
Schedule: MondayFriday approximately 40 hours/week
Compensation: $125000$175000/year

Korzen Health in collaboration with Healogics and CalvertHealth Medical Center is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join an established outpatient wound care program in Prince Frederick MD.

This is a hands-on procedure-focused position for an NP who enjoys treating complex patients performing procedures and developing expertise in wound care.

What Youll Do

You will evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients with acute chronic and complex wounds.

Responsibilities include:

  • Wound evaluation and treatment planning
  • Sharp and surgical debridement
  • Incision and drainage
  • Suturing and minor procedures
  • Advanced wound care
  • Infection management
  • Compression therapy
  • Monitoring healing progress and adjusting treatment plans
  • Patient and family education
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary wound care team
Support & Training

You will have a strong clinical team supporting you including:

  • Case Manager
  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) Nurses
  • Office Manager
  • Front and back office staff

Previous wound care experience is preferred but training is provided for the right candidate. HBO training is also available.

What Were Looking For
  • Active unrestricted NP license
  • Current DEA
  • Minimum 1 year of NP experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Procedural experience preferred including debridement I&D suturing or similar hands-on procedures
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
